Riding School - Try It and Assessment Sessions

Our children’s horse riding lessons for aged 6-18 years of age are run as pre paid monthly terms.

It’s never a problem to join us mid term, we will just charge a pro rata price.

  • Beginner children aged six upwards:

    1. Beginner children will need to first attend a “try it” 30 minute intro session to try horse riding before committing to a term of lessons.

    2. Try it sessions last 30 minutes, cost 20 euros and are smaller classes of 4-6 riders.

    3. If after the try it session you would like to sign up for lessons, you can sign up for a term of half hour beginner lessons. It is not an issue to join mid term.

    4. Beginner children must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian aged 16 or over who can lead them while they learn the basics of control and steering in their first few intro classes.

    5. Once children reach the level where they can walk and trot unaided and are ready to progress, our instructor will assign them to an off lead 60 minute group class next term.

    6. Please note we do not offer private lessons, hippotherpy or theraupeutic riding.

    7. Please understand that we don’t offer ad hoc / one off riding, hacking or cross country.

    8. Classes are priced per term and must be paid up front. It is not an issue to join mid term - pricing is worked out accordingly from start date to the end of the term.
