BHS Exam Training

BHS (British Horse Society) exam training is provided by Ross O'Hare BHSI. Ross is one of few people in the country with the full BHSI and has in depth knowledge of the exams and levels. There are a number of ways in which Dunbyrne can help you to sit and pass your BHS exams from Stage 1 through to the stable manager and ITT exams.

STUDY AS AN INDIVIDUAL

You don't have to do a full time course to study for your BHS exams nor do you have to work with horses full time. It is possible to train for BHS exams when working full or part time in any industry and we have had many clients who have successfully done so. One to one lessons will allow you to make the most of your time with our BHSI. The individual approach allows you to focus and improve on the areas you need help with and will allow you to progress at your own pace through the exam system with a tailor made training plan.

GROUP SESSIONS

If there are a few of you who would like to study for your BHS exams, we can provide a group training plan which would incorporate sessions in all sections of the syllabus. Training as a group spreads the cost and create a positive and supportive learning environment.

MOCK EXAMS

If you have already done some training with us or elsewhere and are preparing to take BHS exams we can schedule and conduct mock exams on an individual or group basis. These mock exams are ideal for running through the exam sections and syllabus and identifying any weak areas to work on before the exam itself. Taking a mock exam and going through the exam structure and routine can also help to reduce nerves on the day of the actual exam.

Getting started with the BHS

I provide the following services to assist you in achieving your BHS Exam goals:

  • Training from Stage 1 to Stage 5 in riding, stable management, theory and coaching

  • Evaluation and sign off for exams

  • Mock exams

  • Road Safety

If I can be of help on your BHS journey call me at 0862222440 or email dunbyrnestud@gmail.com

If you wish to take your Stage 1, I ask first that you become a BHS member (and book your exam ). This is because this initial commitment of time, money and undertaking is vital for goal setting and for turning an idea into an actual outcome. Once these first steps are done, the rest will follow.
